Just had to find out what kind of plane this was. P3 Aurora. Long range patrol. To enforce cdn sovereignty in cdn waters. Was a replacement for the argus. Argus was probably the loudest aircraft I have ever heard. They used to fly over moncton, all the time in the 70's.
Hey, thanks for the info. Always interesting to know about the things we see around us and take for granted. I can”t image it being louder than the Osprey we heard a few months ago over Moncton. That was very loud!
